Read Across America Day

March 3

Early Global (Infant – JuniorK): In Early Global, we read books daily with kids to promote the message that there is room in our community for all readers. In our EGE classes, from Infant to JK, we will continue to promote the importance of reading, and students are invited to dress in a costume like their favorite Book Character on March 2nd. The world—and books—are filled with many different kinds of people. Getting to know them is interesting, exciting, and fun!

Elementary School (K-6th Grade): SELA Elementary is excited to be celebrating National Read Across America Day 2022! In our English classes, we will continue to reinforce the importance of Diversity and Inclusion with in-class thematic readings and activities that focus on the importance of celebrating variance.
