Elementary-Facility (Hingham) Junior-K to 6th Grade

The architectural design of a 37,500 square-foot educational facility features a vibrant blue color in the hallways, complemented by vivid yellow walls in classrooms designated for junior kindergarten through 6th grade students. This environment is deliberately crafted to promote collaboration, with five specialized labs designed to encourage teamwork and creativity. The classrooms provide ample space and flexible seating options to enhance comfort and focus for students struggling with traditional seating setups. The facility also includes a library and cafeteria, both pivotal for academic and social interaction. An indoor gym equipped with a Lu System fosters active engagement and physical health. The educational staff benefits from a relaxed atmosphere that supports open communication with the administration, nurturing a collaborative school culture. This design approach not only aids in academic success but also fosters the social and emotional development of students, offering a well-rounded educational experience.

Our classrooms are exclusively dedicated to specific subjects, allowing for an in-depth exploration of the subject matter. These focused classrooms revolve solely around the core concepts and principles of the subject, facilitating a comprehensive understanding. Teachers can integrate Project-Based Learning (PBL) and various disciplinary approaches within these settings, enhancing the educational experience.

Outdoor Areas

Our students enjoy access to a playground located at the back of the building. The school has constructed this new multipurpose area to foster a spirit of sportsmanship and physical activity among students. From a young age, students have the opportunity to learn essential skills in sports like tennis and soccer through structured instruction. During recess, they can freely engage in play, allowing them to apply what they have learned while enjoying active and social interactions with their peers. This approach not only promotes physical fitness but also encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of sports, helping to develop well-rounded individuals who value both health and collaboration.
