Our programs are designed to support former students who wish to continue their Spanish language learning journey, even after transitioning to other schools. We offer a range of group classes, all conducted in full immersion, to help students further develop their language proficiency.

Our graduate programs are thoughtfully crafted for alumni seeking to further advance their Spanish language proficiency. Each group class is conducted using a full immersion approach, designed to foster authentic communication and fluency.

Junior-K Graduate Program

This program is tailored for students who have completed Junior-K at SELA (typically graduating in June) and are entering Kindergarten. In this stage, we introduce foundational reading and writing skills, as well as oral practice. The curriculum is designed to build on the language base established in Junior-K, preparing students for more advanced Spanish learning.

Junior-K II Program

Junior-K II is the next step for students who have completed Junior-K I. At this level, students are ready for more advanced activities as their reading and writing skills have progressed. They will be expected to complete more complex projects, allowing them to demonstrate their Spanish proficiency and expand their abilities to a higher level.

Elementary Program

For our former students who continue with us, the Elementary Program focuses on further developing language skills. We strive to deepen their understanding of Spanish through varied activities that foster both comprehension and expression, ensuring that their language abilities continue to grow as they advance through elementary school.

Spanish & Mandarin Full Immersion Program (K–6th Grade)

We offer full immersion programs in both Spanish and Mandarin for any student in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Classes are conducted 100% in the target language, providing a comprehensive bilingual or multilingual education experience.

These levels are designed for students with minimal or no previous exposure to the language. The curriculum integrates essential bilingual communication skills: comprehension, expression, and writing. Students will learn to understand simple instructions, answer basic questions related to daily routines, and begin to present ideas and express newly acquired vocabulary, with attention to grammatical accuracy. Reading and writing skills are also developed at this stage.

These levels build upon the foundational skills acquired in the beginner stages, introducing more complex language structures and expanding students’ abilities to communicate in both spoken and written forms.

Advanced Level

At the advanced level, students are challenged to use the language in a variety of contexts, engage in in-depth conversations, produce detailed written work, and demonstrate a high level of fluency and accuracy.
